These cars were so attractive they have been used as hot rods for many years. Although there are a lot of kit cars on the road today with all fiberglass components this Model A is finished in all steel with only fiberglass rear fenders. The folding wood trunk rack adds a nice touch as does the front radiator screen and custom red pin-striping. This entire henry Ford steel beauty is done extremely tastefully including a 4" chop top and a stainless steel dropped headlight bar. Under the hood that is smooth steel and absent of louvers is a 327 cubic inch v8 that has been bored :60 over and features a general connetics cam with a 290 duration and .452 lift. The 350 transmission has a shift kit and delivers power via a corvette driveshaft to an 8 3/4" rear end with a 3:23 gear ratio. The suspension is a 5" dropped steel i-beam axle and this car rides beautifully down the road and is very easy to maneuver. Surprisingly the interior is quite roomy and is finished in a very tasteful gray velour upholstery with original style handles and door pulls and black dial sw gauges. This car also features twin 8 gallon fuel tanks with a power switch-over and individual fuel caps on either side of the rocker panels.
