The classic 4-door woodie body, hand built by cecil taylor at the hercules motor car company in tampa, fl, was mounted on a tci chassis. All the wood finishing and detail installation was completed by ron heiden of heiden woodworking, encinitas, ca. Ron's finishing work inclues ribbon grain mahogany panels inside and out, as well as hard maple, birch, and a basswood roof slats. Ron also added mahogany and maple to the budnik steering wheel, as well as to the top of the floor mounted gearshift. The undercarriage of the woodie is as well painted and detailed with stainless steel and chrome as the body. In the sunlight, the spectacular paint on the fenders and hood displays a wide spectrum of deep candy apple "hellfire" colors as the radius of the fenders and hood move from shadow to sunlight. The classic leather interior, which includes leather seats front and rear and wool carpeting, was completed by the award winning armando's custom interiors. The interior includes an original 1934 Ford dashboard that has been modified to accept beautiful and functional classic instrument gauges. The rear gate swings down to reveal a custom mahogany interior with chrome luggage strips and a panel which hides the gas tank filler cap. In addition to the dashboard and rear gate design, the innovative and beautiful hood superstructure, engine compartment firewalls, custom tanks, engine valve covers, and other custom details were created by super rides by jordan. The woodie's aluminum Ford 486 cubic inch engine includes edelbrock heads, a crane roller, and imagine injection.
