If your looking for a street rod but want something a bit different look no further. If you go to that local show and you will see 32's and 33's everywhere you look. Not only that but most won't have fenders! Well this custom is not only a unique year but its not even a ford! This classic 1935 Chevrolet cabriolet has the look of a roadster but still has its fenders. This makes for a look that is actually somewhat unique in the street rod world. The gibbons body is coated in bright red that has been color sanded and buffed out to a smooth finish. The carson removable hardtop is done in tan and looks perfect next to the red paint. Out of the tops out there, you won't find one as heavy duty as a carson. You won't feel like you just have a rag top over your head. The body sits on the tci chassis which is one of the best known out there. The car has very limited chrome to keep the smooth shaven look. However the chrome mirrors and chrome headlights that are in place shine beautifully. Because it is shaven a key fob is used to open the doors. The car rides on a set of nitro wheels (20"-rear, 17"-front) with fresh low profile tires. It has a nice stance with just a slight rake for a great looking profile. The 350 crate motor is topped with a street and performance tuned port injection system that was all professionally installed. Not only does it increase performance but the entire system is polished out to make for a great looking engine. The chrome valve covers have billet lines which match that of the tpi and look perfect. From cool flex house to the chrome alternator there is tons of shine and billet on the engine. The small details like red spark plug wires to match the paint are found throughout the car and help set it apart from the rest. The turbo 350 transmission shifts very smoothly with zero problems. The ford 9 inch is an extremely strong rear end and is set up with low gearing so cruising down the highway isn't an issue. Disc brakes have been added in front with drum in rear and the entire system has no issues. The car has a nice smooth ride which is all backed by adjustable aldan coil overs with a fully polished heidts mustang ii style front end. The interior on this car is completed in bone ultra leather and is very nicely done. It is all custom and professionally done very well. Features like the door panels with custom arm rest and billet handles show the quality of work in the car. The dash on the car was left plain for the most part to create a very nice clean look. The only thing you find on the leather wrapped dash is the dakota digital single gauge that looks perfect. Because of this the ignition, other switches, and a dome light is mounted underneath the dash. The vintage ac/heat system works just as it should and utilizes billet vents which are nicely inset. The tilt steering column is all brushed aluminum and is topped with a custom billet steering wheel. That along with the polished turn signal switch make for a beautiful look where they almost appear as one piece. The power windows on the car are not only a nice luxury feature but can be remotely operated via the same key fob used on the doors. Between the bucket seats is a hidden am/fm/cd stereo and additional storage. The power trunk on this street rod is finished out beautifully in matching leather with a custom hidden compartment for the battery. This is a very well done street rod that would be a great addition to any collection! This smooth driving street rod could be yours for the reduced price of $64,950.00!
