Gateway classic cars of st. Louis is proud to offer a gorgeous 1940 Ford Pickup. This beautiful truck has been in the same family since 1940. When it was passed down to the second generation, the truck was fully restored (in 2001). The body was stripped and straightened. The paint is a deep glossy black and really shows off the lines on this truck. The bed is lined with beautifully stained wood which looks wonderful. The original drive train was rebuilt and has only traveled about 1,000 miles since. The flat head v8 engine makes a great sound and gives plenty of power for cruising around town. The 3 speed manual transmission shifts smooth and is fun to row through the gears. Over the past 14 years it has been in garage storage and only taken out occasionally to a few car shows. The interior looks like new and is a very sharp tan cloth upholstery. Equipment is limited, but after all it is a truck. This would be a great vehicle for parades, car shows, cruise nights, or even to paint your company name on the side and drive around as a rolling billboard! A gloss black truck sitting on clean wide white walls is sure to attract some attention. Located in our st. Louis showroom, this 1940 Ford Pickup can be seen including 50 hd pictures and video at .
