| Description: offered for sale by the california automobile museum classic 1940 LaSalle we offer financing exterior black lacquer paint presents quite well, there is damage to the drivers fender & paint, a quick touch up job was performed in this area. Passenger fender also has a dent but is missed at a glance. Front bumper has a few scuffs but is overall in good shape. Grill is complete but shows some slight chips towards the bottom at center. Stainless trim and rear bumper are tarnished but show no signs of rust or cracks. Passenger rear glass is cracked at corner and there is a small chip at the center on passenger side windshield, otherwise glass, lights and lenses are free from damage. Interior carpet is dirty but is not torn. Drivers seat is torn near drivers side door, bottom of front seat appears unfinished however included trim pieces just need to be reinstalled. Headliner is torn at both back corners but otherwise in good shape. Steering wheel is cracked and has been repaired with black tape. Mechanical engine can be a little slow to start when cold due to 6v system but once running, idles smooth and has no trouble moving this car down the road. Car drives well with no errant noises from suspension. Transmission shifts easily and brakes work as they should. Surprisingly, radio and clock are both working. Gauges all appear to be working but fuel gauge needle jumps around, most likely a loose connection. Additional books, documentation, parts and promotional materials included with vehicle.
