For sale in our orlando showroom is a 1947 Chevrolet sedan deluxe. Fresh off the post war press from Chevrolet the deluxe was a fresh style that provided an nice face lift from doldrums of pre war cars. Much in the same way the model a was a canvas for hot-rodder's in the 50's the post war sedans were a great starting point for guys looking to hone their craft in the 60's and 70's thanks to their high volume and cheap cost. This teal beauty is done in the quintessential "zztop" style with 1994 Chevrolet metallic teal accented with coral graphics and she's spent a few decades turning heads. Don't let the plush look of this rig fool you though, there's more than enough going on under the hood to back up her loud looks. The engine is a superbly built 383 stroker thats been balanced and blueprinted, equipped with a cast 400 crank, eagle h beam rods, kp pistons with plasma moly rings, cloys double roller timing kit, 9.7:1 compression ratio edelbrock heads, crane custom grind cam, 1.5 ratio aluminum rockers, milodon deep sump pan, dual 500cfm holley carbs with mechanical secondaries, msd pro billet distributor with flame thrower coil, and a host of other speed goodies. Backing up all of this horsepower is a built th400 outfitted with a tci saturday night special 2300 rpm stall converter and electric kickdown. This sedan is an absolute shocker when it comes to putting down the power and is still built for a comfortable cruise with amenities including am/fm/cd player, vintage air, power steering, power brakes, and a very nice set of vintage vdo gages. It's very easy to see why this rod comes with a stack of trophies and awards that will be a great addition to her new owners garage wall.
