The appearance of this midnight blue beauty is remarkable from any angle but most people are awe-struck at the front end styling with its massive chrome bumper, grill and headlight doors that give the appearance that the whole front end is dipped in chromium. In addition to the proudly displayed Lincoln emblem dead center you will notice the art deco hood ornament and stainless steel hood trim. The classy exterior design continues along the sides with large front fenders leading back to rear fender skirts and slanted trunk panel. The rear of the car also features ample chrome, horizontal taillights and a simple "l" in the center of the bumper. This car is elegant and sophisticated and ready to turn heads at any corner you arrive at. The interior of this Lincoln is equally gorgeous and features more chrome on the dash than most modern cars have period. Beautiful art deco styling is continued on throughout the instrument panel and the fully illuminated gauge cluster is beautiful and functional. Some features on this car are not what you would expect in '48 including power convertible top, power windows, under-seat heater working signal-seeking radio with foot pedal control and front fog lights. All plastic accents and knobs are transparent maroon and are a great compliment to the glove soft maroon leather upholstery. This particular car has been lovingly cared for and restored throughout its 67 years. A repaint was completed in 2003 along with a new tan cloth convertible top and brakes completely done in 2014. The 294 cubic inch v12 engine was rebuilt in 2008 and runs whisper quiet and provides plenty of power to move this 2-ton beauty up to highway speed.
