Its beautiful exterior color is echoed in the car's newly completed interior, which is finished in a handsome two-tone gray tweed and blue check pattern. The door panels, carpeting, and headliner were also recently completed, and show very nicely. The steering wheel and "flight panel" dash board are also in excellent condition. Under the hood you will find the original 239 cid flathead v-8 mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. Both the engine and transmission were recently rebuilt. Other mechanical improvements made when the car was professionally restored in 2011 include new brakes, brake lines, and tires. Its dual exhaust system features glass packs that give the car a nice rumble. Best of all, this Custom runs and drives as well as it looks.
