All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance. Here's a great old Ford that will have everyone smiling. This 1950 Custom Deluxe club coupe has just the right blend of old-school charm and mild custom touches. It is also a great running car with its flathead motor and column shifted 3-speed. The underside of this Ford is in terrific shape, with a solid frame, floors, and rocker supports. The body has been painted a beautiful Ford amazon green which is accented perfectly by the shiny chrome and brightwork. The continental kit and side skirts look right at home, as do the faux lake pipes and spotlights. Under the hood is an excellent 239 ci flathead motor. This engine runs as good as it looks; it is exceptionally smooth, has decent power, and is easy to start. It has a nice mellow sound through the dual exhaust with smitty's glass packs. Also the electrical system has been converted to 12v for better reliability. The transmission works as good as the engine, as do the brakes and steering. The suspension is also in great shape with many new parts. It all makes for an enjoyable driving experience. The grey interior has also been redone using period correct materials. It is in fantastic condition and is a real throwback (with the exception of the seat belts front and rear). The car does have turn signals with a column mounted switch. The windshield wipers and very loud horn work great, as do the heater and dash lights. There is also an aftermarket stereo in the glove box with cd changer in the trunk. And don't miss the kleenex box under the dash! This car also includes many spare and original parts, including the oil bath air cleaner and a second continental kit cover. There are also two owner manuals and three matching containers for water, oil, and gas. This is really a nice package. It's a great looking old Ford inside and out, and is a pleasure to drive with a smooth ride. Whether you want to hit the drive in or just cruise the strip, this one hits the spot.
