Description: this 1957 Bel Air convertible has a high gloss show quality black exterior finish, restored chrome, stainless, bright work, grille, headlight and tail light bezels, re chromed window glass channels and quarter windows as well. New brushed aluminum appliqu, side trim, emblems. Complete new set of tinted glass, show quality front and rear bumpers. Every piece has been re plated, refurbished or replaced, all new head lamp gaskets, hew hood spears, latches, strikes, weather strip, rubber bumpers, beautiful black fabric top with a glass back window. Orig. Power top switch with orig. Bracket. The pull knob was replaced with a good reproduction. Custom plush leather boot needs installation. Seamless orig. Frame painted in candy apple red. Ultimately smooth edges on the floor braces. Complete new 2.5 dual exhaust system, dual turbo mufflers, with chrome tip exhaust extension exiting the rear side of each quarter panel. All the floor pans a re new and have a high gloss finish. The factory rear has all new axle bearings, seals and gaskets. New gas tank, sending unit and gas tank straps. Multi leaf springs with air shock to give the car that period "hot rod" look. New e-brake system, new brakes, wheel cylinders, hardware in the rear. New front spindles, rotors, calipers, brake lines, brake hoses, new ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, center link pitman arm. Rebuilt 700r4 automatic overdrive trans. The motor was purchased from a local chevy dealer... A turn key crate motor has everything you need. Ac, ps, pb, completely like new under the hood. Detailed inner fenders and firewall in gm 60klack restoration paint. Sound proof deadener in the rear wheel house area. The front inner wheel house area is restored in 60nloss gm restoration paint as well. The trunk is finished in black fabric custom made filler panels neatly installed battery relocated in the trunk. Emergency shut off switch on the passengers side inner trunk panel. The wheels are new 15" american racing d-torque thrust 5 spoke alum wheels with 4 new firestone fr380 p215/65 r15" black wall radial tires gives this car a really cool look. The interior is simply stunning, red reggie daytona full leather interior with black piping on the seats, full leather interior door and rear trim panels. New carpet, all new hardware, including leather visors. Complete new convertible top, weather strip, chrome latches, restored instrument cluster, radio not shown in photos. ( we have the orig. Radio). brand new dual antennas mounted in the rear gives the car a lot of pizazz! Complete undated wiring, front to back. The car has only been driven approx. 10-15 miles since the car has been restored. Radio and seat belts still need to be installed. Driving this car with the updated 35-/330 h.o. Crate motor and 700r4 trans, quick ratio and power steering and power front disc brakes is most enjoyable and truly a whole different kind of car!
