Supercharged ls9 6.2 liter v-8 ... 630 horsepower ... Tci 6-speed automatic ... Custom sound system ... Boyd coddington pro's pick recipient... "air rage" a car that took the custom car scene by storm ... This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is a restomod that defined the direction of custom car building for a whole generation of street rods. Professionally designed and fabricated by garret's rod shop of columbus, ohio, and extensively shown after its debut, it is the recipient of a boyd coddington pro's pick award, super rod magazine top 10, rod & custom magazine top 100, goodguys street machine of the year runner up, and multiple goodguys, super chevy, and hot rod super nationals "best of" awards. It has been featured in popular hot rodding, super rod, and rod & custom magazines, as well as hot rodding magazines in japan, germany, and england. It has also been featured in the popular hot rodding calendar, the daytona turkey run souvenir program, and jegs and boyd coddington advertisements. Now on the market for the first time since its debut, this top shelf restomod can now be yours. Finished in viper red basecoat/clearcoat, this Bel Air's finish has a beautiful luster. It features california bumpers and stock brightwork that have a mirror-like shine. All chrome and brightwork has been replated or polished to a show quality shine. Its billet wheels were designed by boyd coddington and are unique to this car. Another custom touch is its larger-than-stock side windows, which eliminate the vent windows for a truly unique look. Custom fabricated led tail lamps provide additional distinction. If the exterior of this car impresses you, the interior will blow you away. Its custom front bucket seats and floor areas are finished in cream ultraleather, which has the look and feel of glove-soft leather and contrasts beautifully with the viper red finishes used on its dashboard and custom fabricated fiberglass center console and rear seating area design motifs. Concealed switches electronically operate panels that reveal its hidden power window switches in the center console and an eclipse am/fm/cd custom sound system in the dash board. Mtx thunder amplifiers and a 10-disc cd player are concealed behind custom panels in the trunk for easy access. You'll also appreciate its custom tilt steering wheel which features paddle shifters. A full array of classic instruments gauges will keep you informed about what's going on under the hood. Turn the key and tap the accelerator and you'll be rewarded with the throaty growl of its supercharged and fuel injected ls9 6.2 liter v-8 engine, which generates a whopping 630 horsepower. Power is supplied to the wheels by a tci 6-speed automatic transmission than can be paddle shifted, and a 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. This restomod also features custom headers and a flowmaster dual exhaust system. Stopping power is provided by wilwood drilled and slotted power disc brakes. It also features power steering and a ridetech air ride technologies remote control operated suspension system. The powertrain has less than 100 miles. If a restomod that set the bar in the field is what you desire, this 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is the one that you'll want to put in your garage today. |
