| Description: 1962 Studebaker Lark daytona with 289ci v8 clover engine & tt (twin traction) option. This is a 43k mile car that looks and runs beautifully. Starting with the body, there are no dents, dings or rust on this car. She is solid with metal throughout. The paint is new and absolutely gorgeous! It has been refinished in its original black, a rarely seen color for Studebaker in 1962. Chrome and trim are also in excellent condition as the photos will show. Both shine bright with no pitting or hazing. The interior is original and still in fantastic condition. Seating is in excellent condition as is the dash. The headliner is perfect. The carpet is showing some fading but no tares and very little ware. All gauges are clear and work properly. The am radio does not work but a replacement am-fm stereo with cd player is in the glove box. All lights including high and low beam, signals and reverse lights work. Even the interior lights still work. The trunk is solid as a rock and extremely clean. This Studebaker runs and drives great! This engine is the highlight of this car. It sports a 289ci clover engine. There is a picture of the clover stamp in the photos. The clover engine is a Studebaker heavy duty factory replacement engine. It has an aluminum timing gear instead of fiber. Heavy duty engine bearings and piston rings. It's the one to have. It sounds mean, runs strong and looks fantastic. This Studebaker also has the factory tt (twin traction) option. The transmission is a manual 3speed with overdrive that shifts as it should. It goes into gear easily and the clutch feels great.
