Gateway classic cars is proud to offer a one of a kind 1964 Chevrolet Malibu station wagon. This is not your grandmas old wagon. This beautifully restored 64 4 door has been refreshed from stem to stern. The first thing youll notice is the bold viper red paint which has a high gloss and really shows well on this body style. Those with a keen eye will catch a few subtleties that this 64 has which set it apart. Yes, that is a 65 grill insert, and yes those hood inserts are from a 66. These touches give the wagon a one of a kind look. Another nice optical illusion which the painter has added is black paint around the window frames. This blends with the tinted windows and almost gives the look of a pillar less hardtop. The whole package sits on a sharp set of billet specialties wheels wrapped in modern low profile rubber. Under the hood of this beauty youll find a custom smoothed firewall and polished inner fenders. Housed within this super tidy engine bay is a 350 cid v8 gm crate engine. Sitting on top is an endurashine intake manifold and a 4 barrel edlebrock carburetor. The accessories on the engine are very impressive. There is a street drive polished pulley bracket system. Billet specialties is responsible for the gotta show power steering pump which is one of the smallest you will find. Of course theres a polished alternator and the vintage air compressor is also wearing a polished finish. Backing the v8 is a turbohydramatic 350 automatic transmission. The rebuilt trans has a shift kit and lokar linkage and shifter. The engine and transmission have just under 2,000 miles. The engine breathes through 2.5 exhaust with turbo style mufflers with stainless tips. Just because the exterior and under hood are gorgeous, dont assume they skimped on the underside. The undercarriage is nicely painted and shows extremely well. The interior is beautifully appointed with 4 red bucket seats with a custom look that still appears period correct for the vehicle. The dash houses a custom dakota digital gauge cluster which gives a very cool look, especially at night. The heat and air control are housed in the glove box to keep a factory look. The ac blows cold and will keep you comfortable in even the hottest months. With power steering, and power front disc brakes, it drives like a much newer vehicle. This is a vehicle you could drive across the country with confidence and look good doing it. Located in our st.
