| Page. Here is a very nice and sharp 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 hardtop that has had alot of money spent on it doing the restoration back in 2009. The previous owner passed away and his family sold it to us. He loved this car dearly and you can tell. Here is part of what he did to this Fairlane: built 351 windsor ( balanced ) aluminum heads and intake forged pistons new headers msd box tci transmission 3000 stall reverse valve body racket shifter new 9" rear with 4:11 gears new gas tank new electric fuel pump new fiberglass hood and bumpers ( thunderbolt look ) new interior ( seat covers, carpet, headliner, door panels ) new aftermarket gauges for oil, temp and amps that work grill was straighten and polished ( cost of $1,400 ) all new weather stripping and rubbers new tires and wheels the paint is slick and looks great and the body is straight. No rust on this it has one place on the trunk lid where the paint had flaked off but that is the only flaw i have seen. ( easy fix ) this car runs strong and is very fast. Sounds awesome as well. The guy who built it was wanting the thunderbolt look. Very nice car!! |
