| Description: this rare and unique car is also a boat. The Amphicar. Made only about 3000 cars from 61-63 and as they were sold they were titled. This car is a fully operational car with lots of new parts installed including a new top and a new clutch, pressure plate and through out bearing. The car has no rust on it and has a nice straight, clean body finished in a shiny coat of blue paint. Other than some light cosmetic restoration and some normal light restoration on the suspension, brakes and electrical, this classic is for the most part an original car. The parts that are still installed on the car from the factory are in remarkably good shape considering the age of the car. These cars were bought by the affluent back when they were new as a novelty. Today they are very popular among classic car collectors because they are so outrageous.
