| Description: ladies and gentleman, just toys classic cars is proud to present this very fast 1965 Ford Fairlane 500 thunderbolt tribute. This is one awesome cars. We all know the history of the thunderbolt and how they just tore down the quarter mile at lightning speeds. These cars were all built to compete with the mopar's of the day that were eating every bodies lunch at the strip. The body is very straight on this car. There was not a lot of flash and cash on these because they were built to be as light weight as possible. This is the color combo that you found most of them in. Seems pretty vanilla we know with white outside and a light brown interior, but these were built for speed, not flashy looks. Under the hood is really where the business end of everything happens with this car. Like we said, it is a 427 with dual quads, and this motor screams. We have the casting #'s on the heads, intake, carbs, crank, connecting rods, dual point distributor, and even the pistons. This is all Ford, and all bad ass under the hood. This awesome motor is matted to a 4 speed tranny and the clutch is right and tight. There is plenty of power in this car. The exhaust runs out the side and there are even pull tabs to have it go out cherry bombs out back. Obviously, it sounds sooooooo much better out the sides. If you are a fan of old school drag racing, then this is a car that must be in your collection today. This car is sweet from tip to tail. You could take this to the strip and have a blast with it and lay people to waste. To that point, it has not been down a drag strip so we don't know how fast it is.
