It was owned by the proverbial little ole lady from pasadena'. It changed hands once after that and is owned by the collector that i am selling it for. So, he is the 3rd owner. The serial number is 7r02c which the 2nd digit means it was built in san jose, ca and then purchased by mrs. Rose in 1967 and kept for 35 years. I am taking a picture for you of the personalized plate she had specially made for her which says 4rose67. Pretty cool right?? I am also including for you two marti reports for you to see for your information. The 3rd owner made a special binder on the car which shows his expense on the car. They total almost $5,000. You should be able to won and drive this car for very little money if you take care of it properly. These 67/68 fastbacks have been used in numerous movies, etc. Because of their tremendous looks. I am sure you remember bullitt' and gone in sixty seconds'. This good lookin' 1967 fastback has been driven to many shows such as nifty 50's in houston which regularly has about 500 cars in attendance. The owner installed a/c in the car to make these trips very enjoyable in the houston summers. He upgraded the a/c compressor with a more modern rotary type which is much more efficient. I am including pictures of the underside of the car so you can see how incredibly nice the original red oxide' floors are. All we did was clean and touch up the original floors and this is what you have. Very unbelievable!! Also, i will show you pictures of the underside of the doors to show you how nice they are and these areas are places which normally rust very badly. Please note: the floors in these pictures had only a light cleaning rather than the full detail cleaning. The previous owner also spent quite a bit of money on the car restoring the rubber pieces, front and rear bumpers, new style steel wheels with bf goodrich tires, new exhaust, new paint, totally redone interior, all chrome emblems including gas cap, tail light bezels, head liner and other miscellaneous parts. Together with the money the present owner spent on the car, it has had a great deal of money spent on this fantastic california car.
