| Description: i purchased this 911 5 years ago as my personal occasional driver. It has always lived in san diego and i bought it from an older fellow (a pca member) who had owned it for 40 years. It wore personalized california black plates but he kept them - sorry. It runs wonderfully, has never been in an accident and is rust free. It is all matching numbers (accept for the color currently). The matching #'s engine is documented to have been rebuilt about 30k miles ago with new pistons, cylinders(2.6 liter), etc. The internals were built to approximately190hp ("s" territory). The 901 box shifts perfectly and she makes all the right sounds. Nothing is needed mechanically. To be a top level car she only requires new paint, original seats, stock wheels and a few other odds and ends. She's been maintained in top mechanical condition by san diego's finest Porsche shops.
