As one of the premier italian coachbuilders, vignale designed and built bodies for ferrari, maserati, lancia and cunningham among others. The Gamine was alfredo vignale's personal project that was produced in limited numbers by vignale's own manufacturing plant under the name carozzeria vignale. The car was based on the Fiat nuova 500 sport, but was rebodied at the vignale plant. No one knows exactly how many Gamines were built, but the best estimates are around 300. There are very few of these unique vehicles left in existence and you will not likely every see two of them in the same vicinity stateside. This handsome little car is presented in older burgundy paintwork over a freshly reupholstered black cabin. Recently acquired from its near life-long owner, an italian auto enthusiast who is said to have originally imported the Fiat from italy many years ago.
