| If you are looking for a reasonably priced muscle car with world class potential, this is it. Presented is a very original 1970 Buick Gran Sport stage 1 with 455 360 hp v-8 engine, muncie m20 manual 4 speed transmission, posi-traction rear end with 3.60:1 ratio, 4 barrel carburetor and distributor everything original and numbers matching to car. Car has solid rust free steel frame, body and detailed trunk with full chrome spare. Car equipped with power steering, power brakes and documented low mileage of 39,967. Only 664 Buick gs stage 1 were built in 1970 with manual transmissions, of the 664 built, only a fraction had a 455 360 hp v-8, which is actually pushing out 425 hp. Today, how many of these survivors still exist with all matching numbers and original parts, probably less than 100, if that. This car is among the rarest and most desirable muscle cars around. Word on the street is that it beat the hemi in a quarter mile run, just saying. The exterior has had a quality repaint to titan red (burnished saddle original color). The color presents really sharp and has like new black pebble grain vinyl top. Functional and correct deep breathing hood scoops with air induction air cleaner and hood mounted Buick 8,000 rpm tachometer. Car has excellent chrome bumpers and bright trim throughout, heavy duty suspension and dual magna flow exhaust system which sounds incredible. Excellent set of matching goodrich radial ta raised white letter tires on correct gs chrome wheels with Buick center caps. Interior is original burnished saddle with bucket seats, padded dash, factory floor console with 4 speed shifter. Original interior and headliner are in very good shape. Car will need some detailing and minor cosmetic touch ups as it has been sitting in a climate controlled garage for a number of years. With that said, it is extremely presentable as is, and waiting to be taken to the next level.
