Just to look at the lines on these cars just makes you want to hike up your shoulders and stick your chest out just a bit further and stand a little taller. These cars just look tough sitting still. You will look more tough sitting behind the wheel. The lipstick red paint is miles deep on this car and a magnet is going to stick to this one. This is not one of those 50 foot bondo queens that you surf on the waves when you walk up to it. The fit and finish are great and just ready to be in your garage. Underneath the car is as nice as the top. There are tubular a arms for more strength and stability when hitting the corners. These cars originally were not really great handling vehicles. You can count on this one if you lay it into a turn. You will have a nice ride on this one for sure with adjustable coil over shocks up front and will more than come to a quick stop with power disc brakes. The rear brakes are drums, but you have coil overs in the rear as well for that superior ride that most muscle cars dont offer. Under the hood of this beast is a 396 that has been .030 over and believe us when we tell you that there is more than enough power in this mill. Not only do you have all that power, it is mated to a 700r4 transmission. You have power with overdrive. It doesnt get much better than that. All of that power goes out to the 12 bolt rear end that is stuffed with 3.55 gears. You will get fair highway mileage driving out of these gears with the overdrive tranny. Everything stays cool with dual cooling fans and all of your shifts are easy and positive with the b & m floor shifter. The interior of the car is very clean and simple. With a split back bench seat you get a lot of comfort. There are no rips or tears in the seats, front or rear, the headliner, door panels, or the dash. There were not a lot of frills to the interiors of these cars back then, but what is here is in great shape and is very clean.
