In 1971, Dodge produced a total of 27,377 Challengers but only 1,857 of those were convertibles, making this Challenger a rare piece. This beautiful convertible went through a 2 year long restoration and the workmanship and end product are stunning. The body was painted in the ever popular plum crazy purple and a new white convertible top was put on that will sure to draw attention wherever you go. The interior was redone with black carpeting and accented with white seat covers and door panels and sure makes statement. In between the front buckets is the infamous pistol grip shifter and a nice set of autometer gauges were put in to help monitor the engine vitals. The professional engine build started with boring the 340 cid block .040 over and then dropping in keith black pistons, a comp cam, high volume oil pump and then fitted with a pioneer harmonic balancer, elgin water pump, ceramic coated hooker headers, aluminum mopar intake, and an edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor.
