Description: all vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance. Here's a car that is as much fun to drive as it is to look at. This restored 1973 z28 Camaro has all the refinement of the second generation Camaro design, making it a much more enjoyable car to drive than the original 1967-1969 design. But it also has classic muscle car looks that make a strong statement wherever you go. This car is a genuine t-code 4-speed z28 Camaro. Originally a light blue car, its new red paint with white racing stripes looks much more brilliant. And the desirable split bumper rs front end has to be the nicest of any Camaro design. This car also has the correct z28 wheels, front chin spoiler, and 3-piece rear spoiler. Throw in the z28 emblems and a healty exhaust note and there's no mistaking this car. The car's original motor has been replaced with a rebuilt 406 cubic inch small block. This 4-bolt motor produces huge torque at low rpm and makes this z28 a blast to drive. It has an edelbrock carburetor with electric choke for easy starts. It also has a nice idle and good vacuum, resulting in decent road manners and smooth power brake operation. The clutch takes a little more leg than stock (as expected with a performance setup). The muncie 4-speed has also been rebuilt, and the rear end is the original 10-bolt setup with 3.73 gears, positraction, and anti-sway bar. The car also has power steering with just the right feel. The tan interior has a dignified look and is very comfortable. The carpet, seats, and door panels all look great. The stock 130 mph speedometer and 7,000 rpm tach both work great, as do the aftermarket oil pressure and water temperature gauges. This car is also equipped with a factory rear window defroster which works properly. The heater, wipers, dash lights, and courtesy lights are fully functional as well. A panasonic in-dash cd/stereo is also present. This is a great z28 for someone who enjoys driving as much as good looks; it is a lot of fun behind the wheel but also is a huge attention getter. And you can't say that about every old Camaro. If you're going to own a classic, you might as well enjoy it to the fullest! Price: $28,500 |
