Built as a detailed replica of the famous miami vice Daytona. There were only two Daytonas used in the production of the tv series miami vice. One of them is on display in our museum, the other in private hands. neither are for sale, nor will they be any time soon, and you could expect them to be considerably more money than thiscar! the owner of this car conducted extensive research of the actual cars used on the tv show in order to build this car identical to the screen used cars right down to the properly sized pirelli tires. his research included conversations with the owners of the real cars as well as the individual responsible for the build of the original two cars and the person who received both replica Daytonas at the end of the their use on the show.besides being a miami vice replica, Daytona replicas in general are very sought after and rare. because of licensing infringement on the Ferrari design, Ferrari sued anyone that attempted to reproduce their body design. it is estimated that only 50 - 100 Daytona replica bodies were built, making them more rare than a real Daytona! (and far more rare than a cobra!)built around a 1982 corvette it has all the amenities, chassis and driveline for performance, ease of maintenance and reliability as a 1982 corvette.
