| For sale in our st. Louis showroom is a 1973 Mercury Cougar convertible xr7. This classic convertible is powered by the original 351 cid v8 backed by a 3-spd automatic transmission. This was one of the the most sought after options in 1973. The exterior is painted a strong silver while the interior is comprised of black leather bucket seats that are stamped with the Cougar emblem. The silver exterior offers black pin stripping on the fenders, doors and hood. The dash pad is in great shape and is free of cracking. Looking downward youll see rally wheels rapped in radial tires with white lettering. The large chrome bumpers are in nice shape and in 1973 the Cougar was equipped with safety bumper guards. Options include: am/fm radio, cassette, automatic convertible top, power steering, power seats, power windows, seat belts, and leather interior. The odometer shows 20,274 miles; we are assuming it is 120,274 actual miles but the miles are undocumented. 1973 was the last year for the second generation body style.
