This very sharp looking 3-owner car with 88k miles is in excellent mechanical condition and ready to be driven anywhere. It is a nicely optioned, rust-free car that represents a great value in the world of Corvettes. The eye-catching exterior has such a classic look with its code 70 red paint and tasteful pinstriping. There are a few points of wear on the paint but it is quite nice for a 33-year-old car. Note the the dg7 twin remote sport mirrors and the desirable cc1 glass t-tops. There are also rally wheels with new trim rings to complete the look. The bf goodrich tires are in great shape as well, and the windshield has been replaced due to a crack. Under the hood is the original l83 350ci engine producing 200 hp. This was the only engine available in 1982, and with cross fire injection was the first Corvette to incorporate electronic fuel injection. The mx0 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission was also the only offering in 1982. Everything is in excellent mechanical condition. The rear end was just rebuilt and the transmission serviced. Other recent maintenance includes a new radiator, starter, fuel pump, power steering pump, and valve cover gaskets. There are also magnaflow mufflers with a nice deep sound. The interior of the car is in very good condition with its original code 64 camel leather seats. The door panels, dash, console, and carpeting along with will plate covers and new floor mats all look wonderful. Features include a 6-way power driver seat, power windows, power locks, cruise control (recently rebuilt), rear window defogger, and am/fm/cassette stereo. There is also a tilt / telescoping steering column along with air conditioning that has been converted to r134a. Even the anti-theft alarm is present and functional. This car has a lot going for it; great looks, solid mechanicals, clean history, nice options, final c3 production year, and more. There is also the original owners manual and sales brochure along with recent receipts. It all makes for an affordable way to get into a reliable classic Corvette that you can really enjoy.
