| Description: 2011 Aston Martin n420 traditionally, Aston Martins are known for being exquisite gt cars and works of art on wheels. Aston Martin decided to change that notion with the resurrection of the vantage name. Instead of being another gt car, the vantage is a sports car that was designed to compete with the likes of the porsche 911. Powered by a naturally aspirated v8, 420hp accelerate the pretty body to 100km/h in 4.6 seconds and onto a top speed of 290km/h. Sharp and communicative steering makes the vantage confidence inspiring through corners and it involves the driver in the driving experience. A 6-speed automated-manual transmission does business of shifting gears and large brembo brakes quickly pull the V8 Vantage to a stop with little effort. The n420 is the successor to the special edition n400 of 2007, based upon the standard 4.7-litre V8 Vantage this particular vehicle being equipped with the optional sportshift. The n420 comes with sports pack suspension as standard, a new sports exhaust system and plenty of carbonfibre which has achieved a 27kg weight saving over the standard car. In addition, the n420 has the extended n400 sills, carbonfibre splitter, side strakes and diffuser, black mesh vents and graphitic' tailpipe finishers. This car rides on custom, polished 21' wheels. For the interior the n420 has the iridium interior package, with graphite instruments, thicker rimed alcantara sports steering wheel, special n420 sill plaques and lightweight carbon fibre seats with n420 embroidery and race track' stitching as in the v12 vantage.
